Mitravelas Estate, Old Vineyards Agiorgitiko, Nemea, 2016

A complex Agiorgitiko (aka ‘St George’) from its traditional heartland of Nemea. The wine features aromas of ripe red cherries and plums, combined with oaky cedar wood and spice, refreshing mint and a hint of leather. On the palate, chewy tannins are supported by high acid and warming alcohol (15%). Ripe red berry fruits are livened up by complex herbal, earthy notes. Still has plenty of potential to age.
