A savoury nose opens up to sweet-spiced dark cherry fruits on the nose. Lightly aged in oak for two months, the ripe, soft-boned tannins caress a saline, fruity core of blackberries, dried herbs and dark chocolate, with decent elegance. The 2021 vintage was produced by Tenute Piccini Spa, a family producer founded in 1882.
