Even if you prefer paler shades of rosé, don't let the darker colour here put you off. It's a serious wine – a 50/50 blend of Touriga Nacional and Aragonez – which is firm, minerally and dry, with nice grip and weight of tart cherry fruit. This exciting estate was bought by the Soares family in 1998, and young daughter Mathilde draws all the labels.
