Cramele Recas, Incanta Chardonnay, Romania, 2021

Brand new at Majestic, and a partner to the Incanta Pinot Noir which has been listed for some time, this good-value Romanian Chardonnay is made by Englishman Philip Cox and his wife Elvira at their family-owned winery, Cramele Recas. The blend is 97% Chardonnay, and 3% indigenous varieties, and the result is a ripe, almost tropical white for easy drinking pleasure. A good summer party option.
