Cramele Recas, Orange Wine, Romania 2022

This highly approachable orange wine is a mish-mash of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, made with no added yeasts, sulphur or sugar. It’s highly fragrant and a mid-burnished gold in colour from 3.5 weeks’ maceration on skins. Perfect for the time of year, you’ll find aromas and flavours of quince, apricot and orange peel with a hint of vanilla and spice. Positively festive.
