Enjoyed alongside a delicious Château Léoville Poyferré 1996, this muscular yet engaging Cape red held its head high. The blend is dominated by Cabernet Franc, giving it a peppery, leafy lift and vitality, while the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon deliver intensity and complexity. Edgy, bloody, spicy, savoury and insistent.
