Biscuity green apple and citrus on the nose. The smart use of oak barrels and time spent on lees gave the wine a rounded mouthfeel of brioche and butterscotch over notes of citrus and red apple peel, turning into marmalade on the yeasty finish. The high acidity is the spine which supports the ripe fruit and allows it to age further.
