The Pinot Meunier grapes are sourced from the estate's own Mill Hill East vineyard featuring clay and sandy loam soil. Hand-picked and pressed gently in whole bunches, it has a perfumed nose of rose potpourri, strawberry, red and dark cherry, spiced with clove and tobacco leaves. Aged for 8 months in French oak, it's soft textured and juicy on the palate. Elegant red cherry and cranberry are seasoned with black tea and discreet cedar. Poised and long, the spiced sour cherry notes linger on.
