It's a perfect expression of the vivacity and élan of a top-class blanc de blancs from a very good vintage. Delicious as an apérifit or with a meal.

Made from very old, foot-trodden Baga grapes at an estate that has been in the same family since the 12th century, this has dense colour, a spicy Hermitage-like nose, and pure 'blood of the vine' extraction, smoothed by oak with ripe tannins and marvellous acidity.
