BFWE 2012

Decanter’s Great Bordeaux Fine Wine Encounter (Saturday 16 June 2012, The Landmark Hotel) featured over 80 of the region’s most prestigious producers with the chance to meet the winemakers themselves.

For the first time at a Bordeaux Encounter, there was a dedicated en primeur showcase for consumers to taste the most recent 2011 vintage.

There were also three masterclasses from Chateau Lynch-Bages, Chateau Gruaud-Larose and Pessac-Leognan as well as a Discovery Theatre featuring Chateau Coutet and Chateau Suduiraut.

Decanter Italian Fine Wine Encounter 2012

IFWE 2012

Decanter's Great Italian Fine Wine Encounter 2012 features over 80 of Italy's most renowned producers with the chance for consumers to taste more than 300 Italian fine wines.

The event features three top masterclasses including: Allegrini - The Secrets of Amarone, a vertical tasting of Tignanello by Marchesi Antinori and Ian D'Agata talking about Barolo 2005: The finest wines from the finest vineyards.

Also at the event is Decanter's Discovery Theatre, hosted by Italian wine specialists Vini Italani, who will be presenting three informal tutored tastings, lasting 45 minutes each.

The event takes place on Saturday 19th May at The Landmark Hotel, London.
