Product:

Chateau Larose Trintaudon, Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux, 2010

Producer:

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Very ripe, toasty, almost jammy black fruits nose. Rich, bold, full-bodied, concentrated, and tannic. It’s compact and has energy and force. This has structure and weight and a firm forthright finish, packed with ripe black fruits. Very long.

Ronan Sayburn MS

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Vanilla toffee and caramel on the nose, new oak very assertive on nose but not unpleasant, oak dominates on palate a little, hard dry palate.

Steven Spurrier

Tasting: Crus Bourgeois 2010

Good fresh blackberry fruit, and really nice lifted Cabernet/Merlot fruit, perhaps young vines, but here is a wine that is more on the fruit than in the cellar and is very good, quite fleshy and well-balanced, with nice natural acidity.
