St-Pourçain, La Réserve Spéciale, Loire, France, 2016

(at 67 Pall Mall, 22 Mar 2018)
Drinking Window: 2018 - 2019
Snap this new listing up from The Wine Society, a Gamay-Pinot Noir blend made by Sylvain Miniot at the St-Pourçain co-op. No need to wait for this – it's juicy and quaffable, perfect slightly chilled on its own or with simple meat and cheese platters. Tart cherry, sappy fruit tannins, lifted floral notes and a lovely autumnal edge to the supple palate, backed by fresh acidity. Inviting, moreish and great value.
