A new addition to Majestic's own-label range, the Definition Sancerre is a very approachable example of the Loire's most famous Sauvignon Blanc wine. The 25-year-old vines are planted in Jurassic limestone soils, but this is more of a soft and easy-drinking style than highly mineral. Gentle gooseberry, citrus and fresh herbal notes make for a food-friendly wine that would also slip down easily as an aperitif.
