Tasted by: James Button
(at Mary Ward House, London, 08 Mar 2017)
Drinking Window: 2017 - 2018
This Sauvignon has a character typical of Marlborough, with intense aromas of mushy peas, gooseberry and blackcurrant leaf. The palate is equally intense and also zesty, showing gooseberry and citrus fruits with a hint of smokiness in the background. The long finish has notes of crisp green apple and tomato leaf.
