Notes of raw shortcrust pastry and ripe, yellow apple make for a most classic, creamy nose. The palate is just as creamy, and has a lovely edge of both lemon pith and cold butter, lending it direction and drive as well as a smooth richness. The foam is very fine and the balance exquisite. A very classic, very harmonious and subtle Cap Classique with lovely but light-footed, Pinot-driven generosity.
