Château Pouget, Margaux 4CC
Decanter average score: 17.75pts/20 (92/100pts)
Individual judge’s scores: SB 17 AG 18.5 SS 17.5
Real Margaux nose with violets and cassis seamlessly interwoven. There’s more swagger than finesse, but there is elegance and lift to come out from what is now a rather four-square wine. Very complete.
Price £50–£55 Albany Vintners, Bordeaux Index, Fine & Rare, Slurp
Drink 2015–2030 Alc 13.5%
Judges: Steven Brook, Alun Griffiths MW and Steven Spurrier
