Sam Caporn has been in the wine trade for 14 years, including roles as tastings co-ordinator for Wine International magazine before becoming a buyer for Direct Wines in 2005, and most recently, joining Constellation Wines as wine development manager in 2008. She has passed the tasting and theory sections of the MW, and is now working on her dissertation.
