In 2000, Poh Tiong published the world\u00e2\u0080\u0099s first Chinese Bordeaux Guide, which has continued as an annual publication, and he also works as a wine consultant to Singapore\u00e2\u0080\u0099s FairPrice and Finest supermarkets, as well as Hainan Airlines. Holding a Certificate in Chinese Art from the University of London\u00e2\u0080\u0099s School of Oriental & African Studies, Poh Tiong organised the first Chinese Art Weekend in Singapore in 2012.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2013\/05\/0000058e3-MagandeepSingh_justinetrickett_5908.jpg"><h2>Magandeep Singh DWWA 2013 Judge<\/h2>Magandeep Singh is India\u00e2\u0080\u0099s first French-qualified sommelier and professional wine taster, and since qualifying around ten years ago, he has worked in India where he consults via his company Wi-Not Beverage Solutions. Magandeep is also an established freelance wine, food, travel, and lifestyle writer, with regular columns in several national newspapers and magazines, and has conducted wine training workshops across India for the most prestigious on and off-trade establishments. Author of <em>Wine Wisdom<\/em>, now in its third edition, he was awarded the Silver Medal at the World Gourmand Awards for his book's importance as an educational reference. Recently, Magandeep and his Wi-Not partners inaugurated India\u00e2\u0080\u0099s first ever accredited wine school, the \u00e2\u0080\u0098Institute of Wine and Beverage Studies\u00e2\u0080\u0099, in New Delhi.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2013\/05\/000005870-Annette_Scarfe_dwwa2012_JTrickett_2947.jpg"><h2>Annette Scarfe DWWA 2013 Judge<\/h2>Annette Scarfe MW consults for restaurants in London, Hong Kong and Singapore including Alan Yau\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Princi and Bettys. She has previously consulted for Sake No Hana and runs regular training sessions for the on-trade at several restaurants in London. Annette is a regular member of magazine tasting panels, educates on the topic of Bordeaux and is a WSET certified educator.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2013\/05\/000005931-Thomas_Rooch_dwwa2012_JTrickett_2695.jpg"><h2>Thomas Rooch DWWA 2013 Judge<\/h2>Thomas Rooch is a native German who has lived most of his live in Asia and speaks fluent Chinese, German and English. He graduated from Fu-Hsing College in Taipei, Taiwan, and holds a Diploma in Hotel Management and Administration from Institut Hotelier \u00e2\u0080\u009cCesar Ritz\u00e2\u0080\u009d, Switzerland. His vast experience includes various positions in Asia, the USA, Europe and the Middle East for Hyatt International, Hilton, Ritz-Carlton, The Peninsula in Hong Kong, One&Only Luxury Resorts, and the Asia Wine Service & Education Centre in Hong Kong. Thomas is a member of \u00e2\u0080\u0098The Sommeliers of Asia\u00e2\u0080\u0099 and the official \u00e2\u0080\u0098Ambassador of German Wine\u00e2\u0080\u0099 for the VDP, German Wine Institute. He has also judged at several international wine competitions since 2006. Thomas currently works as General Manager at Anantara\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Sanya Resort and Spa on Hainan Island, China.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2013\/05\/0000058c6-JeanReillyMW_justinetrickett_5553.jpg"><h2>Jean Reilly MW DWWA 2013 Judge<\/h2>Jean Reilly MW is the Director of Wine Buying for JJ Buckley Fine Wines in Oakland, California. She has over 13 years\u00e2\u0080\u0099 experience in the wine trade, working as an educator, journalist, retail buyer, and sommelier, and has travelled to over 50 wine regions, working the harvest at wineries in Burgundy, California and New Zealand. In 2010, Jean became the USA\u00e2\u0080\u0099s 26th Master of Wine, only the fifth American woman to hold this prestigious title, and her dissertation, "US Sommelier Opinions of German Riesling", won the Quinta do Noval Outstanding Dissertation Award. Jean speaks frequently about wine on television and radio, and writes for a variety of publications, including <em>Beverage Media<\/em> and American Airlines\u00e2\u0080\u0099 <em>Latitudes<\/em> magazines. Jean is also a dedicated skydiver.
