Jim\u00e2\u0080\u0099s other blog is the award-winning Jim\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Loire and he is one of the five members of Les 5 du Vin blog. He also contributes to Hugh Johnson\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Pocket Wine Book and is a keen photographer, especially in the Loire.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/05\/000002f93-Ken_Mackay_MW.jpg"><h2>Ken Mackay MW.jpg<\/h2>Ken Mackay MW has worked in the wine trade since graduating from Oxford in 1999. In 2006 he passed his Master of Wine exams at age 28, becoming one of the youngest people ever to do so. During his studies, he was the recipient of several scholarships. Ken has been a Wine Buyer for Waitrose since 2008 and is responsible for sourcing wines from Bordeaux, the Loire, Rh\u00c3\u00b4ne, Alsace, Germany, Austria, South Africa and the USA.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/05\/000002f94-Nigel_Wilkinson.jpg"><h2>Nigel Wilkinson.jpg<\/h2>Nigel Wilkinson has run London\u00e2\u0080\u0099s RSJ restaurant for 30 years. The restaurant\u00e2\u0080\u0099s wine list focuses on the Loire, boasting more than 300 wines from the region. Nigel began travelling to the Loire 25 years ago and is a regular visitor.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/05\/000002f95-Victoria_Stephens_Clarkson.jpg"><h2>Victoria Stephens-Clarkson.jpg<\/h2>Vicki Stephens-Clarkson joined the wine trade in 2000. She worked in sales and buying with numerous wine companies including Lay & Wheeler and Direct Wines, before joining Liberty Wines as Buyer in 2008. She has worked in wineries in France, Australia and Argentina, and speaks French, Spanish and Russian. She specialises in several French regions, as well as South America, and is currently studying for her MW.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/05\/000002f96-Yves_Desmaris_MS.jpg"><h2>Yves Desmaris MS.jpg<\/h2>Yves Desmaris MS attended the Centre de Formation d\u00e2\u0080\u0099Apprentis (CFA) in Livron, France. Upon graduating in 1986, he moved to the London to work as commis sommelier at the Stafford Hotel in St James. During this time he completed the WSET Advanced Certificate & WSET Diploma. In 1992 he was awarded the title of Master Sommelier. He has been with Gary Rhodes for almost 13 years where he is Wine Buyer for UK restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Rhodes Twenty Four.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/05\/000002f8f-Chris_Kissack.jpg"><h2>Chris Kissack.jpg<\/h2>Chris Kissack is the author of Winedoctor (www.thewinedoctor.com), which he has been publishing for more than 10 years, and which is now visited by more than 15,000 readers every day. He has focused on the Loire and Bordeaux for many years, and has been a frequent visitor to both regions since 1993. In the Loire Chris visits domaines, experiences the vineyards first hand, meets the winemakers and reports on their wines from the annual Salon des Vins de Loire, while in Bordeaux, Chris is a regular reporter from the annual en primeur tastings, as well as a reviewer of the wines in bottle at two and four years of age, and into maturity.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/05\/000002f90-Jason_Yapp.jpg"><h2>Jason Yapp.jpg<\/h2>Jason Yapp is the Managing Director of Yapp Brothers, wine merchants specialising in wines from regional France with a particular emphasis on the Rh\u00c3\u00b4ne and Loire. Jason has a key buying role for Yapp Brothers and makes regular trips to the vineyards to liaise with growers. He also works very closely with Yapp Brothers\u00e2\u0080\u0099 trade clients who encompass over 50 Michelin stars in total. He has worked in the family business for 19 years, having previously spent time in France working on various vineyards and managed a wine shop for Oddbins in Islington. Jason has hosted numerous professional wine tastings throughout the UK as well as in France, New Zealand and the USA. He is also a lecturer for the WSET at diploma level.<img src="http:\/\/www.decanter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2012\/05\/000002f92-Katie_Exton.jpg"><h2>Katie Exton.jpg<\/h2>Katie began her wine career in 2005 helping out Peter Hall at English winery Breaky Bottom. She then spent six months working in wineries in Canada and Australia. On her return to the UK in 2006, Katie joined Majestic Wine, before taking the trainee sommelier position at Chez Bruce in 2007 under the stewardship of fellow Decanter judge Terry Threlfall. After a six month stint at Mayfair's The Square restaurant, Katie returned to Chez Bruce in March 2010 as Head Sommelier where she currently works.
