In 2000 he published the worldâs first Guide to Bordeaux in Chinese and, later on, www.chinesebordeauxguide.com, the worldâs first bilingual Chinese/English website on Bordeaux wine. He founded the International Congress of Chinese Cuisine & Wine and www.vinovideos.com, the worldâs first Chinese/English website devoted entirely to wine videos. Rebecca Leung.jpg Ms Rebecca Leung is an independent wine educator, wine journalist & consultant based in Hong Kong. Rebecca is one of the most prolific wine writers in Hong Kong. She writes her own wine blog "Wine is Beautiful", and has regular columns in many local, regional and international wine publications. She hosts an online wine programme and a radio wine show. Rebecca has judged in various international wine competitions. Rebecca was born & raised in Hong Kong, but had also spent time residing in Canada with her parents. The mixed cultural background has given her a broad horizon on lifestyle, which has heavily influenced her palate & views towards wine & food. Stephane Soret .jpg StÃ©phane Soret graduated with a Sommelier Diploma in NÃ®mes and moved to London in 1989 for his first Sommelier position at Ma Cuisine before heading to Paris, starting at Ledoyen and working his way upwards in hospitality while obtaining a hotel management degree at CMH-Paris, European Center of International Hotel Management.In 1994 Stephane moved to the US, working for hotels including the Campton Place Hotel in San Francisco, where he won The Wine Spectatorâs Best Award of Excellence for their wine list in 2000. After being involved with the launch of Napa Valleyâs Wine.com and working at Vigneron Imports, he headed back to Paris for a Sommelier role at Michelin-starred Le Cinq (George V) and managed the Cellar of the Quai dâOrsay for the French Minister of Foreign Affairs. 2005 saw Stephane's return to London as Head Sommelier for Mosimannâs and since then he has been working in the Middle and Far East, and is currently Wine Director at Raffles in Singapore. Annette Scarfe.jpg Annette Scarfe consults for restaurants in London, Hong Kong and Singapore including Alan Yauâs Princi and Bettys. She has previously consulted for Sake No Hana and runs regular training sessions for the on-trade at several restaurants in London. Annette is a regular member of magazine tasting panels and is also a Bordeaux educator and WSET certified educator. She is currently studying for the Master of Wine. Magandeep Singh.jpg Magandeep Singh is Indiaâs first French-qualified sommelier and professional wine taster. Since qualifying about ten years ago, Magandeep has worked in India where he consults via his company Wi-Not Beverage Solutions. He is also an established freelance wine, food, travel, and lifestyle writer with regular columns in several national newspapers and magazines, and he has conducted wine training workshops across India for the most prestigious on- and off-trade establishments. He is the author of Wine Wisdom which is now in its third edition and was awarded the Silver Medal at the World Gourmand Awards as an educational reference. Magandeep and his Wi-Not partners recently inaugurated Indiaâs first ever accredited wine school, the âInstitute of Wine + Beverage Studiesâ, in New Delhi.
