Quite a lot of producers disagreed with the Consejo Regulador on this one, including Contino, El Coto, Faustino, Luís Cañas, Martínez Bujanda, Salceda, Montecillo and Olarra and Ondarre, who rated it as a 4, whilst López-Heredia rated it 5. Very significantly for a grade 3 year, 10% of wines went into Gran Reserva (annual average 7%).
