Bouchard Pere et Fils, Premier Cru, Les Suchots, Burgundy, 2010

Premier Cru

Score

86
  • Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
  • Drink: 2013 - 2025

Manufacturer:

Bouchard Pere et Fils

Stephen Brook

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

Muted red fruits nose, cherries too. Fairly rich, concentrated, solid, lacks some flair and zest, although there is sufficient acidity to keep it from being flat. It seems a faierlhy routine effort,nothing to dislike, but nothing to excite either. Good length, chewy finish.

Anthony Hanson MW

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

medium rich purple;
open, fresh fruitiness;
full, rich and round, quite a block-buster, sumptuous wine.

Jasper Morris MW

Tasting: Vosne-Romanee 2010

Pure and elegant but restrained. There is a substantial mouthful of pure red fruit without ever getting exuberant. Tannins are present but ripe, acidity not pronounced. Quite persistent fruit.
