Slight reduction on the nose, cherries. Quite rich and sleek, moderate concentration, and the tannins are rather dry. A bit lame overall, with a lack of freshness and finesse. Quite good length, chalky finish.

full, richly built, quite high alcohol, lacks distinction.

Ripe full purple, exuberant raspberry fruit. Glossy oak. This is certainly an extremely attractive wine and has the characteristic persistence, rather than weight , of Suchots.The fruit shows at its best at the finish.
