Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Pale gold. A scent of sweet wafers . Simple, light flavours; a little lacking in concentration compared with most of its peers. But the style of this I like a lot: naturally articulated and unforced, with plenty of drinkability to it. Not a show-stopper, though.

Nose of royal jelly, some delicate farmyard, lovely minerality, delicate fruit, soft lingering finish, a very pleasant light refreshing wine.

Pronounced, clean and slightly mineral nose. Ripe red citrus fruit character with creamy texture but a bit too much yeasty batonage character.
