Brut

Score

  • Drink: 2013 - 2016

Manufacturer:

Jenkyn Place Vineyard

Richard Hemming

Tasting: UK Sparkling

Discreet nose, slightly peaky acidity – certainly typically English but rather abrupt and un-luscious

Justin Howard-Sneyd

Tasting: UK Sparkling

Pale lemon yellow – bubbles rising steadily. Sherbert on the nose. Attractively fresh and easy-going, with good ripeness of fruit, and a lovely balance. Not perhaps the most serious or long-lasting of styles, but very drinkable

Stephen Skelton

Tasting: UK Sparkling

Elegant nose with good autolytic notes and ripe fruit – another 2009 character. Palate is full and layered, with complex ripe fruits, plus good length and persistent finish.
