Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Clean white-gold. Clean, fresh, sappy, delicate. Vivid, fresh, lively, sappy; another of those Chardonnays which might well appeal to Sauvignon drinkers. I can’t say it hits the Margaret River platonic ideal, by contrast: perhaps a good wine to push the case for sub-regonality in Margaret River. Zesty, almost grassy Chard, but very well made. After a while, the aromatic profile gets richer. Very attractive wine in the lighter style.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Lovely fresh sea breeze flavours, clean and refreshing, very precise wine with soft passion fruit and clean acidity, mellow background of citrus on finish with some toasty overtones.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Clean and elegant with well integrated oak ripe red citrus fruit character. Med-full bodied with crisp acidity and long citrus aftertaste.
