Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Subdued nose: black cherries and plums. Rich but rather severe, dense and quite extracted, but it’s also spicy and layered. This needs time to come into harmony, and it’s a touch rugged at present, but it has ample weight and depth. Very good length.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Rather dull, uninteresting nose. Weedy. Fair fruit but not Classed Growth standard. Tart, slightly dry finish.

Tasting: Medoc crus classes 2009
Good fragrancy and depth of black berry fruit, but a bit chunky and four-square. Tannins are still very present and acidity is quite high. Needs settle down, but not that encouraging at this stage.
