Château Luchey-Halde 2014

Château close to the city, one of the last two properties in the commune of Merignac and owned by ENITA agricultural engineering school with Olivier Lavialle as director. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot and 25% Merlot. The gravel soils give an elegance and lift to all three varieties, and the 33% new oak is prettily integrated.
