Meaty and savoury hints in the first glass, followed by a dark core of cherry and violets. dark roses and hints of liquorice. Spicy and complex it has firm tannins and a smoked finish.

Dense youthful blackberry. Ripe, herbal streaked cherries with a meaty note. Ripe and intense with a touch of heat and spice. Salami and cherries. Some length.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba

Purple-ruby with inky tinges. Mineral plums and fresh herbs on the perfumed nose. Rich and ripe yet very lively on the palate with bright fresh long mineral red berry and cherry flavours. Good stuff.
