Spicy and rich, with lots of plums and violets. Sour cherry and wild berry freshness. Some meaty notes with medium length finish

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba

Very deep red. Sweet oaky nose, a bit cooked, cherries and vanilla, international-style. Medium-bodied, but lifted, stylish, and intense, with fine if raw acidity to balance the fruit. A bit assertive now but needs time. This has elegance and poise as well as fine concentration. Good length.

Tasting: Barbera d’Alba

Deep red. Perfumed ripe red cherry and sweet spice aromas and flavours. Good ripe fruit and tannic backbone, but there’s a little alcoholic warmth at the back.
