Score

Manufacturer:

Domaine de Pech-Menel

Rosemary George

Tasting: Languedoc

Quite deep colour. Quite ripe spice – rounded fruit. A tannic streak with good body, depth and some oak, texture and fruit. Should develop well.

Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Languedoc

Deep black-red. Rather aromatically dry and simple. Plenty of power and depth on the palate, but rather dry and over-forceful, unredeemed by perfumed charm.

Simon Taylor

Tasting: Languedoc

Muted nose. Still young – lots of grip over tight black fruit. Doubtful if this will come into balance
