Sweet, fleshy damson nose, super-ripe and oaky. Rich, dense, tannic, a touch hard now but not too extracted. A forceful wine that’s assertive now but has the stuffing and structure to age well, though it may never be that elegant. Long.

Rich, concentrated extract. Layered fruit. Powerful in style. Big tannic frame – a touch on the robust side. Will need time.

Crunchy blackcurrant fruit showing some Cabernet Franc. Ripe and rich on the palate, tannins are there and the finish is a bit raw; a powerful wine that needs time to absorb the tannins.
