Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Liquorice on nose, fruit is behind the oak, very good wine although I am failing to get the full benefits of this.

Deep. Dusty, spicy nose. Punchy, structured palate, firm tannins, balancing acidity with medium length.

Deep colour, extremely pungent mint and eucalyptus on the nose that carries through to the palate which is quite tart and chunky at the same time; rather overwhelmed overall by the strident eucalyptus character.
