Tasting: St. Aubin 2011

 Lean apple and lime nose, with a hint of boiled sweets. Quite rich and creamy but lacks some personality and bite. It has plenty of fruit and immediate appeal, but there’s a curious edgy acidity on the finish. Medium length.

 Seems quite simple. No great purity or weight but okay.

Lemon yellow, fine floral white and yellow fruits nose, very good balance and all the lifted, floral expression expected from St. Aubin, a fine, well-balanced wine.
