Tasting: St. Aubin 2011

 Some tropical fruit on the nose. Rich, plump, and fleshy, with ample forward fruit but it’s not very nuanced or complex. The acidity is modest too, so the appeal is immediate. But there’s plenty of fruit here. Medium length.

 Quite soft and easy. Unpretentious but fairly straightforward. Pretty but lacks some depth.

Fullish yellow green, good broad yellow fruits on the nose, quite ripe palate, oak still present, good depth of fruit and a well-made wine.
