Tasting: St. Aubin 2011

 Muted appley nose. Quite rich, suave and textured, with an appealing softness balanced by moderate acidity. Quite forward, though there is some light structure on the finish. But it lacks some zest and energy. Moderate length.

 Nice stoniness on the nose, good control in the palate. Good acid on the finish and still plenty to come.

Fullish lemon yellow, yellow fruits and dry honey on the nose, a touch of spice, oak blended in and altogether a rich and complex wine, very good future.
