Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Perfectly correct red fruits: no thrills, no spills. Soft, light, relatively dilute; pleasant but no more.

Lovely delicate violets and confectionary chocolate on the first palate, then gives way to a controlled, lingering, tight berry flush. Very much a berry wine rather than savoury at this stage, would love to see this in a few years time as it matures.

Pungent toasty, smoky, oaked nose with black cherry notes. Elegant and medium bodied with sweet cherry fruit and a prominent oak texture.
