Ripanuda is a project between four friends who run a 3.5ha biodynamic vineyard in one of the loftier sites of Chianti Classico. There’s a small proportion of Merlot, which gives depth, but Sangiovese’s bright, sour-cherry nature runs the show. An enlivening, food-friendly wine.
