Black fruit is very noticeable, doesn’t feel like Chianti at all with fruit flavours feeling dominated by a French variety. However an attractive wine and drinks beautifully, just with the Sangiovese being overwhelmed.

Pleasantly leafy aroma with tomato, forest floor, and blackcurrant. Palate is equally impressive with some toasty oak notes singing alongside the black fruit and liquorice. Palate is satisfying and complete with ripe, concentrated fruit and fine tannins and acidity providing balance.
