Tasting: Soave

Straw yellow. Strong note of peach on the nose, then ripe apple pear and sweet spices. Richer style of Soave but still very balanced fresh and clean. Long lovely and pure.

Mid lemon straw. Rich and developed with ripe melon notes and a hint of citrus peel. Round and medium full with fair intensity of flavour. Creamy and nutty with sweetly fruit flavours, fair finish.

Fresh, steely quality on the nose lacking a bit of depth perhaps. Robust yet rather coarse. Stalky, stringy finish. Middle of the road – no faults but lacks character.
