D’Angelo, Il Berardino, Officer, Gippsland, Victoria, 2010

Il Berardino, Officer

  • Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
  • Drink: 2013 - 2018

Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Slightly odd scents of seashore, wet sand and broken shells. Assertive, fresh, round-contoured but slightly one-dimensional flavours. Very Pinot, though, and very glycerous and expressive too. Tasty.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Earthy and savoury nose, lots of ripe cherry fruit, vanilla spice, lingering flavours and some delicate cigar flavours at end.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Ripe forest fruit, liquorice and vanilla oak. Rich and full bodied with aromatic herb complexity and high acidity. Medium-long aftertaste.
