Light, slightly oak-dried nose; a crisp, delicate, red fruit dried by its new oak tannin – overall lean and charmless with the red fruit acidity dominating; lacks 1er Cru class and finishes lean and brief and dry.

Good fresh colour. Well-expressed red fruits on the nose, fine purity of fruit on the palate, not a big wine, but very Volnay with lifted fruit, oak blended in, tannins also; a wine with supple charm for the mid-term.

Attractive, lifted red cherry nose, nice fruit density and fine tannic weave on the palate. Lovely concentration and balance, long ripe finish. Super stuff.
