Soft aromas of mocha and coffee. On the palate a rich espresso underlying flavour with fresh fruit riding on top, a deep sensual wine, with lots happening in the glass, still quite stalky on finish.

Very deep, brick red rim. Classy, fragrant, tobacco nose, herbaceous lift too. Full, rich palate, dense, chewy tannins, substantial, bold finish. Alcoholic & big. Modern.

Good colour, quite evolved, shading to garnet, briary herbal undertones on the nose; some attractive chocolate and fruit richness on the palate, now showing evolved, almost leathery secondary characters but with fair concentration and nicely layered tannins, and freshness.
