Fruity and savory on the nose, rich ripe plums, soothing vanilla tannin and well balanced, lots of layers of clean delicate fruit here, touch of glazed berries and sauce anglaise.

Intense, scented nose, classy, new smoky oak character. Some serious winemaking here. Lively palate, crisp acidity, grainy tannic muscle supported by good fruit persistence.

Moderate ruby, slightly shading to garnet and showing distinct signs of evolution, hint of volatile acidity? Clean brambly nose, rather austere and slightly hollow on the palate with quite chunky tannins but rather lacking the fruit to support them.
