Delicate, savoury nose with a hint of wild brambles, rich and intense fruit, big ripe flavours, tannin is textured and the finish is very clean, with delicate soft oak coming through.

Deep. Unusual nose, relatively closed, tobacco almost rustic character. Round, fleshy, high acid, supported by layered fruit and dense tannins. Well balanced.

Mid-ruby in colour, pleasant red fruits fragrance, similarly quite attractive red berry fruits of slightly mulberry-sharp, with a tingling feeling on the tongue suggesting that it’s been a tad over-acidified to compensate for the ripeness.
