Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Complex, harmonious, felted fruits, gentle and expressive: a lovely nose, though I would never have guessed Pinot. Rich and sweet on the palate. Serene grand dame of a wine, and lovely sweet, milky sipping, though I think we are a long way from the Pinot ideal here.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Big and savoury on the nose, some leafiness, deep intensity with long, lingering, penetrating flavours. This has developed well and is just incredible on the palate – this is an individual wine and does have some strong tomato flavours.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Slightly reduced and with notes of tomato soup. Short with notes of balsamic vinegar and raspberry jam.
