Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Full green-gold. Nuanced, balanced, elegant aromas. Intensely acidic fruits; long, lean and searching. Some creaminess to keep them ballasted, but the overall effect remains acidic to the finish.

Initial taste gives a ripe sharp citrus kick, but then you get a lovely peach melba flavour coming through with some hidden almonds and wild flowers and honey, buttercups and a lovely early summer brush with wild flowers.

Very intense and ripe tropical fruit notes on the nose, loaded with oak and tropical fruit on the palate, all supported by very good racy acidity and long aftertaste.
