Smoky plush oak allied to layers of black fruit is evident on the nose. Still excellent and fresh, with coffee/mocha notes vying for attention alongside the liqueur cherry ripeness. Good for a while yet.

Intense, with chalky notes and dried apricots. Slight mustiness, announcing some ageing. Juicy, rich, savoury, open, easy-going. Highly enjoyable wine.
