Dense blackberry and plum nose, brooding rather than expressive at the moment. Rich, suave, concentrated, with good underlying acidity to give some freshness. Quite oaky, and the tannins are firm. Not yet harmonious and this needs some more time to come together. Solid rather than exuberant. Quite long
