Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Full yellow-gold. Sweet, blossomy: honeysuckle and freesia. Very enticing scents. Zingy, deep, a little more obvious on the palate than the aromas suggested it would be, this is nonetheless a gratifying and full-flavoured example of MR Chard.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Lovely buttery nose, touch of zing to this wine, lingering toasty white peaches with brown sugar, evolving with a delicate ripe fruity finish, but with a lovely underlying soft toasty vanilla pods. Perfect with wild salmon with vanilla salt.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay

Pronounced nectarines and melon nose with complex well integrated oak notes. Rich and ripe, with mango, passion fruit and blood orange character. Long and creamy with lovely acidity and long aftertaste.
